The incumbent of this position provides administrative support to DOH-Lee Women, Infants and Children Program. This employee is at risk for exposure to blood-borne pathogens. This position may serve clients that speak only Spanish, Creole, or other languages. It may require performance of interpreter duties, if bi-lingual, or implementation of the Department’s Limited English Proficiency Plan. Travel to all WIC sites may be involved in the performance of duties. CLERICAL DUTIES: Operates the FL-WiSE computer terminals/scanners/signature pads/card readers/pin pads: interviews participants for demographics, WIC income eligibility, and immunizations; issues benefits, special formula and EBT cards.
