As the Case Manager FIS you would be responsible for providing services to enable individuals and families to obtain access to needed medical, social, educational, and other support services as well as providing counseling and therapeutic services as specified . The FIS function can be generally described as assessing, advocating, linking and coordinating needed community-based services for the client(s) and families served. The case manager will be heavily involved with and supportive of a client’s educational, legal, vocational, extra-curricular and health related goals, with regular promotion of the accomplishment of these goals. The FIS generally meets with the client(s) and the client’s family (foster, adoptive or biological) in the client’s home or residence, on a regularly scheduled basis .
