JOB TITLE: Material Handler: Reports To: Logistics Supervisor Schedule: 6 PM - 6 AM (Wednesday - Friday, every other Saturday) SUMMARY: With little supervision performs a wide variety of complex material handling duties serving a number of work groups. Work includes performing these tasks or may include directing others to perform: Receiving, verifying the correctness of shipments, checking for shortages and routing material to its proper destination; Shipping, preparing material for shipping, packing, routing; and Stockkeeping, stocking, selecting and dispensing a large variety of materials and supplies. May load, unload, move, deliver, inventory and order materials as required. May provide training and work direction to others as required. Keep necessary records.
