The postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary research team focused on chronic kidney disease prevention and treatment. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing research projects while also pursuing their own research agenda in line with the department's objectives. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducting research on the kidney protective mechanisms of SGLT2 inhibitors using mice models of kidney diseases. Contributing to the development of uremic toxin measurements in mice and human. Collaborating with faculty and staff on research design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
