Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a detail oriented, customer focused, and organized individual for our Human Resources - Immigration Intern position. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer in Pullman, WA . As an HR - Immigration Intern, a typical day might include the following: Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers. Provide support to one or more applied disciplines including, but not limited to, Benefits, Compensation, Compliance, EH&S, Recruiting, and Learning & Development. Modify and update applicant, candidate, employee, and/or organizational data accurately. Respond to applicant, candidate, employee, and/or community inquiries, concerns and needs. Cross-train with other department members to ensure seamless support of all HR duties. Manage confidential files and other privileged information.
