Location: The Salvation Army – Lied Kitchen Status: Non-Exempt – Part Time: MISSION STATEMENT: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. QUALIFICATIONS: - High School graduate or equivalent - Two years of experience as a line cook or equivalent formal training. - Ability to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays. - Posses or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers Permit RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintain the standards set by the Executive Chef - Confer with the Executive Chef regarding the methods, quantities and procedures used in the preparation of food items. - Maintain production schedules to ensure both timely service and quality of product. - Observe and implement all approved sanitation practices. - Oversee that deliveries from purveyors coincide with the purchase order. - Report any unsafe or unsanitary conditions in the kitchen or dining room. - Provide coverage and supervision of clients in the absences of the Dinin...
