Shipping and Receiving Technician: General Description: 1. Primary Responsibilities: a. Receiving: Unload Raw Materials and Tools. Check contents before unloading, noting the variances, or issues with the freight before unloading on the bill of lading. Also, taking digital pictures where applicable to note damage for claims. Removing packing slips and certification (when applicable) upon receipt and receiving into IQMS systems. Notification to purchasing if line item is not open to receive against, for resolution. Inspection of raw materials for each material in accordance with the control plan. Forwarding all receiving documents and certifications to the proper personnel. b.
