Physician - Neurology for Neurohospitalist position

Position Overview: - Department: Neurology trained, Required Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology. - Schedule: 7on/7off, Onsite and Call Required for Weekdays and Weekends during shift - Practice Environment: Access to MRI and advanced Imaging, EEG and neurodiagnostics. Provides coverage for stroke in ED. Collaboration with medical staff. - Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East - Benefits: Benefits include medical, dental and vision packages for eligible associates. Responsibilities: - Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. - Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. - Accepts patient referrals from other physicians.
