Network Technician II

Job description

Primary Roles & Responsibilities: Lead the installation, configuration, and management of network components, ensuring adherence to organizational and industry standards. Conduct in-depth analysis of complex networking problems using expert-level diagnostic tools, while following organizational guidance. Identify and implement optimal solutions for network faults, utilizing logistical support, and escalating issues to senior technicians or management when necessary. Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and remote access solutions to ensure secure communications within the network. Monitor, test, and respond to network performance issues using advanced diagnostic tools (Putty & Wireshark). Oversee hardware and software upgrades aligned with organizational specifications and client requirements. Maintain clear and precise documentation for network projects, configurations, and technical specifications while ensuring accuracy in record-keeping.
