JOB SUMMARY: The Surgical Technologist Aide, working under the direction of a Surgical Technologist, will provide appropriate and adequate sterile instruments and other supplies before and during operative procedures. Will assist with maintaining the surgical field through aseptic practices. Will work under the supervision of the Surgical Services Manager as a member of the perioperative team. Will assist in the nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient for surgery and perform routine and delegated duties according to the standards of practice and policies of the facility and department.
