The Atrium at Navesink Harbor is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator to join our team! The Atrium at Navesink Harbor is a Springpoint Senior Living Community located in Red Bank, NJ. We are currently seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator to join our team. The MDS Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the RAI process, assuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of MDS, CAAs and Interdisciplinary Care Plans, and is responsible for assessing and evaluating the quality of care being given to the residents of the community. Responsibilities: - Determine eligibility of Medicare residents and communicate to nursing personnel the required documentation. - Coordinate the RAI process, in conjunction with other members of the interdisciplinary team. - Oversee and facilitate the completion of MDS resident assessments. Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations throughout the MDS assessment and care planning process. - Submission of MDS to CMS, and review of validation reports making any necessary corrections. - Participate in the development and evaluation of the Resident Care Plan. - Assign and order ICD-10 codes according to resident’s condition. - Coordinate and part...
