IT Asset Administrator

Job description

We are seeking an IT Asset Administrator to join our IT Operations team in an entry-level, hands-on role. This position is ideal for someone starting their career and looking to develop skills in IT Asset Mnaagement (ITAM). You will support the day-to-day administration of IT assets, including hardware, software, and procurement records, ensuring accurate data, strong controls, and smooth operational processes. Full training and support will be provided. Requirements: Key Responsibilities: - Maintain accurate records of IT hardware and software assets across their lifecycle. - update asset records in the IT asset management system / CMDB - Assist with device onboarding, transfers, and offboarding activities. - Support software and license tracking under guidance from senior team members. - Raise and track IT purchase requests, purchase orders, and deliveries. - Assist with stocktake, audits, and reporting activities. - Respond to asset-related queries from IT, Finance, and business users.
