Defense Mission Expert, Lead The Opportunity: As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to guide teams as they solve some of our clients’ most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe. How You'll Contribute: Provide acquisition expertise to the United States Space Force. Collaborate with Financial Management of the Space Systems Command (SSC) to plan for out-year funding from Congressional appropriations to achieve mission readiness. Write budgetary artifact documents for the PPBE process to submit to Pentagon leadership for Congressional budget request via National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and Defense Budget appropriations. Support Government Budget Analyst (BA) with the Presidents’ Budget, Budget Estimate Submission, and Spend Plan management including coordinating monthly spend plan meetings and drafting initial spend plan for the upcoming fiscal year.
