Job Title: Educator-RN Department: General Surgery (2800): Location: Rochester General Hospital: Hours Per Week: 36 Hours: SUMMARY: As a Registered Nurse – Educator, your in-depth knowledge and outstanding communication skills are key in fostering quality care, enhanced wellness and ongoing growth and development throughout Rochester Regional. The General Surgical Unit (2800) cares for pre and post-surgical patients including general, colorectal, plastics and breast, bariatrics, urology, ENT and neurosurgery. This fast-paced unit is a great fit for experienced and new RNs who enjoy multidisciplinary teamwork and rewarding patient interactions. RESPONSIBILITIES: Evaluation. Identify and validate the learning needs of customers by utilizing needs assessments, CQI results, performance improvement results, customer surveys and course evaluation results; document the effectiveness of educational offerings by developing, monitoring and assessing competencies; analyze cost to maximize the efficient utilization of resources Development.
