Job description

As part of a growing company and safety team, Osmose is seeking a new Safety Manager for Wood & Technical Service s operations will be responsible for safety plans, policies, programs, procedures, training, and audits related to electrical power and communications utility services performed by qualified persons (qualified non-electrical workers and qualified electrical workers)—in compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, customer requirements, and industry best practices. Managing a team of field safety specialists, the Safety Manger will work collaboratively with operations leadership, field management, and crews to ensure plans and processes are developed and implemented that support safe operations and continually improve safety performance. The successful candidate will have experience with a distributed workforce (skilled and unskilled)—preferably in the field services industry—who can bring new and creative ideas for engaging employees and supervisors in safety.
