Job Summary: We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team. 1. Must be able to read and understand operating / maintenance manuals and/or technical schematics. 2. Conduct inspections of company fleet pertaining to on road and off -road equipment in accordance with company policy and / or government jurisdiction regulations. 3. Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA etc., 4. Interact with vehicle/ equipment operators, job site personnel, office personnel, vendors and technical support to help determine level of service and/ or repair needed for equipment and/ or job needs. 5. Must know how to operate company equipment to diagnose problems to communicate to management. 6. Operate and maintain overhead and truck mounted cranes. 7. Maintain equipment and tools in a clean, orderly and safe condition. 8. Perform repairs on vehicles and equipment in adverse weather/ environments hot or cold, night or day. 9. Operates equipment, such as forklift or skid loader in a safe and efficient manner. 10. Organizes shop inventory to be safely and efficiently retrieved or stored. 11.
