Production Technician-2nd shift

Job description

The Packaging Technician is responsible for ensuring the correct operation of automatic and semi-automatic packaging equipment in accordance with governing documentation to ensure product is properly packaged and placed into finished goods inventory. The Technician will ensure top and bottom stock, print plates and machine systems are set up according to specified guidelines for identified product. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Perform shift start up paperwork to ensure effective hand off from previous shift. - Maintain top and bottom stock on each machine. Replace trifoil and seal bead. - Set up and calibrate sensors; make adjustments to machine, seal and tracking of bottom stock. - Maintain ink levels in print trays; clean trays between runs as needed. Replace print plates when color change is performed. - Perform changeovers and complete associated documentation. - Perform preventive maintenance; schedule Building Services and Tool Room as needed.
