We are working closely alongside with Wirral MBC to assist with the appointment of a Team Manager , on a 3-month contract , likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £43.00 - £56.24 per hour Summary: Lead and manage a social work team to deliver high-quality, consistent services that achieve the best outcomes for children, young people, and their families. Oversee practice, ensure effective safeguarding, and drive continuous improvement across the service. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Lead and manage a team of social workers, ensuring high-quality practice - Allocate and manage caseloads effectively within agreed guidelines - Provide supervision, support, and performance management to staff - Oversee safeguarding and ensure decisions are in the best interests of children - Conduct audits and monitor quality of casework and service delivery - Degree in Social Work (or equivalent) - Registered with Social Work England (formerly HCPC) - Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD) Essential Requirements: - Extensive experience managing teams in a social care environment - Strong knowledge of legisla...
