This Opportunity Be involved in projects with our CM Team and be part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solve their challenges.WSP is currently initiating a search for a Construction Inspector for our Columbia, MD office. This candidate will serve as a Construction Inspector to support our Construction Management and Inspection services related to Water and Wastewater infrastructure projects in Anne Arundel County, MD. Your Impact Roles and Responsibilities - Provide daily site inspections to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications and codes and maintain up-to-date project records. - Review Contractor submittals, requests for information, change order requests, and as-built drawings. - Measure and record pay items. - Coordinate job progress meeting. - Communicate conditions and field conflicts/changes to Owner. - Provide recommendation for field issues. - Work closely with others team members, along with personnel from utilities, state, local, and federal agencies. - Demonstrate independent and effective problem solving/decision making. - Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
