It is expected that, over a period of time, Materials Technologists obtain competency in all tests conducted in the laboratory. - Know and be comfortable with standards codes such as ASTM, ASME, CSA, NACE, API, AWS. - Awareness of all testing results and how they apply to the given code. Technologists are expected to flag failed test results to their supervisor. - Learn to personally organize their own daily testing tasks based on the workflow and due dates given to them. - Maintain Laboratory and personal work area in a clean and professional manner. - Work within the rules of the ISO 17025 quality program. - Maintain Test equipment and conduct scheduled maintenance on test equipment. - Work with customers and co-workers to improve work processes and resolve technical issues. - Follows all company health, safe...
