Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible General Surgeon to expand our expert surgical services, perform a broad range of procedures, and contribute to our mission of excellence in patient outcomes. Position Highlights: - Will be employed by Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group. - Full-time | Dayshift Schedule | Mon-Fri, 8 am-5pm - Perform a wide array of general surgical procedures, including but not limited to hernia repairs, gallbladder surgery, appendectomies, colorectal interventions, breast surgery, endocrine procedures, and basic thoracic/vascular cases. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in tumor boards, trauma rounds, and quality initiatives to optimize patient care and outcomes. - Participate in call coverage for emergency and trauma services. - Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in our integrated EMR system. Qualifications: - MD or DO from an accredited medical school. - Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in General Surgery. - Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. - Active or eligible for Illinois medical li...
