We currently have a Community Support Worker role available in South London working across two areas Lewisham & Lambeth This is a full-time role, 22.5 hours per week. What you’ll do: You’ll work with local people to build their skills, local connections and friendships. You’ll make sure that the people you work with (Members) are doing as much as they can for themselves, that they are looking after themselves and that they have a life that is bigger than social care support. You’ll feel inspired and help inspire people. You’ll encourage them to try new things and have new experiences. You’ll reassure but you won’t take over. Every Member you support is unique, and every day will be different. Your role will be out and about. You’ll meet people in their homes or at local venues. - For David, this meant helping him to sort out his money so that he paid his bills and had some money left over to spend on what he’s really passionate about: World of Warcraft.
