Job description

PMA is currently seeking a cost control lead for an exclusive assignment on-site at a client’s facility in MI. In this role, you will perform project financial planning, administration, and forecasting duties for a data center project. As a key member of the project management team, will analyze accruals, invoices, variances, and cost accounting for materials and labor and develop and implement standard cost processes and practices to ensure design and construction projects are performed within approved budgets. Organizational Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end cost control, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure alignment with owner financial objectives. - Oversee vendor contracts and change order management to optimize capital expenditures while maintaining project quality and project schedule. - Review and produce project controls reports that provide clear, concise, in some cases summarized, and easily understood progress by all stakeholders. - Monitor and drive the contractor’s adherence to the project controls specifications.
