Job Description Step into your new role!: As an Entry Level Construction Materials Engineering and Testing (CoMET) Technician you will be exposed and trained to perform routine quality control test procedures on commercial, industrial, public and private construction projects from the ground up. No experience required! We are committed to investing in our team members and will provide training and advancement opportunities through technician certification programs. Three openings for this position are available in Owings Mills, MD area. Technicians will require reliable transportation to access job sites within a two-hour radius of office location. Certification/Registration: Kleinfelder requires our technicians to acquire the following certifications within first 6 months of employment – at our expense. - Read and understand applicable construction plans and specifications - Perform Field Observations and Materials Sampling/Testing during Construction of Buildings, Bridges and Roadways. - Perform testing on construction materials including Soils, Reinforcing Steel, Concrete, Compaction grouting, Masonry, Structural Steel, Fireproofing, Metal Decking, Roofing and Paving. - Write Da...
