Job Summary Performs diversified and complex tasks associated with tool fabrication/Machining required in the development of composite components, assemblies, bonded parts and other miscellaneous accessories. The Tool Maker Machinist will support operational and development Programs to enable and deliver zero defect projects utilizing superior engineering and problem-solving skills. They will deliver robust, capable process techn ology as it applies to both materials, tooling, part fabrication and assembly. Job Responsibilities: - Recommend design changes to manufacturing operations - Work with manufacturing and engineering personnel to resolve technical tooling issues - Develop new types and methods of tooling - Use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) - Knowledge of welding practices and equipment (MIG, stick, torch, brazing; TIG desirable) - Knowledge of manual and CNC machining setup, safety, and practices - Troubleshoot tooling failures independently - Create or modify simple tooling sketches for engineering review - Intermediate GD&T interpretation - Understanding of heat‑treating basics - Participate in and sometimes lead root cause and...
