Job Description Category Lead H&W - Kennesaw, GA Job Purpose: Working within the Procurement department, to bring regional responsibility along with respective GCM for executing tasks and sourcing, as well as maintaining materials, at the highest standard which support S&T, CD&D and our customers. Main Responsibilities: - Regionally responsible, together with the respective GCM, for finding and sourcing raw materials which support S&T and CD&D in developing new products to meet our customers’ expectations - Implement new processes/systems to support departmental goals and projects. Manage workflow, scheduling, tracking, change management, evaluating and ensuring all action-items are accomplished. - Raise, investigate and resolve supplier Non-conformances and material failures in the company’s best interest. - Manage selected spend/ sub- categories/ suppliers/ items based on the overarching purchasing strategy - Lead negotiations with suppliers and execute agreed contractual terms for non-core direct materials - Support the GCM with information to identify & manage projects to generate cost savings opportunities across the organization - Execute reporting tasks (e.g. Price movements...
