Location: Cancer & Blood Specialists of Arizona Pay Range: $28.61 - $53.14 JOB SUMMARY: Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation to patients to detect diseases, using radiation producing and detective equipment, under direction of physician ensuring viable images are obtained. Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs all duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures. Key Performance Areas: KPA 1. Nuclear Medicine Imaging & Radiopharmaceutical Administration Prepare, calculate, administer, measure, and record radiopharmaceutical dosages in accordance with physician prescriptions; perform diagnostic imaging procedures and produce accurate images for physician interpretation. KPA 2. Radiation Safety, Compliance & Quality Control Ensure safe handling, storage, calibration, and disposal of radioactive materials; maintain imaging and laboratory equipment; comply with all federal, state, and organizational safety regulations and quality standards.
