Your job is more than a job The RN Dialysis Apheresis a professional caregiver, assumes responsibility, accountability for assigned patient group for a designated time frame and during dialysis apheresis procedure. Provides care to patients via therapeutic use of the nursing process, environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration. Coordinates, delegates and provides direct nursing care for patients by working cooperatively with patients, family members and patient care team members. GENERAL DUTIES: Assessment/Reassessment and Implementation: - Conducts a comprehensive physiological and psychosocial assessment upon admission or upon assuming patient care. - Completes focused reassessments according to hospital policy. - Documents intervention implementation, noting exceptions/modifications and plan of care in the medical record. - Implements the interventions identified in the plan of care in a safe and timely manner such as administering prescribed medications or carrying out procedures.
