We are taking our Maintenance team to the next level. These talented employees have the title of ‘Team Manager – Maintenance’ and they are the drivers of standardization and continuous improvement in the Ford Production System. What you'll do... Safety: - Address department Health & Safety concerns - Enforce department compliance with government, industry, and corporate standards - Promote improved department safety metrics and provide resources for activities - Enforce safety process adherence for launch-related Pro-Tag and Arc Flash updates, Construction Service Safety audits/compliance checks, and inter-department Pre-Task Analyses Quality: - Lead data driven maintenance processes to improve quality metrics (e.g., higher FTT, less scrap, less contamination, and etc.) - Drive root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions through the Global 4D or 8D process. Delivery: - Monitor production runs to insure they stay on schedule, and correct any maintenance-related problems that arise - Provide the resources and activities required to ensure problem free start-ups - Facilitate start-up and shift-to-shift meetings - Facilitate skilled trades understanding of constraint...
