University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing is seeking Staff Nurses in the Main Operating Room, Team 1 to perform specific tasks to assist members of the Nursing team in providing patient care under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager. About Us: Our Cardiothoracic Surgery department provides a full spectrum of procedures, including open-heart surgery, heart and lung transplants, as well as minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques. The Main Operating Room includes 30 operating rooms serving adult surgical specialties open 24/7. Intra-operative services are divided into five teams staffed by RNs and Surgical Technologists.
