The food handler must have a good attention to detail and strong organizational skills. - 401(k) - 401(k) matching - Dental insurance - Health insurance - Paid time off - Training & development - Tuition assistance - Vision insurance Qualifications: A Cook must meet the following qualifications: - the ability to prepare food - the ability to communicate effectively with school personnel, children, and parents. - Servsafe training Responsibilities: The Cook is responsible for the following: Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour - Managing the food budget. - Ensuring the safe handling and preparation of all foods. - Preparing menus that include healthy lunches and snacks. - Preparing breakfast, lunch, and snack per day for 185 children - Ensuring that the menus are always in compliance with state and federal regulations. - Maintaining appropriate portion sizes. - Ordering food and paper products.
