Provides nutrition education in a group or individual basis in the areas of infant, childhood, prenatal and postnatal (including breastfeeding) nutrition to promote development and maintenance of good nutrition habits. During each client contact sets specific goals, which encourage positive changes in their lifestyle. Coordinates nutrition education services for assigned clients and makes referrals for appropriate health and social services. Maintains a courteous working relationship with staff and the public.
