Overview: Vaidyanathan Lab in Gene Therapy We are particularly interested in candidates who bring one or more of the following skillsets: (1) hands-on experience in small animal surgeries (e.g., intratracheal or intranasal delivery models) combined with proficiency in cell-based assays, or (2) expertise in lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulation and a willingness to optimize delivery in vivo . Experience with LNP-mediated delivery of CRISPR components or mRNA in the context of lung or airway biology is a strong plus. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across in vivo and in vitro systems to advance our CRISPR/Cas9-based gene editing therapeutic pipeline for cystic fibrosis and related genetic diseases. Job Description Summary: Conducts research, designs experiments, analyzes data, and presents findings under the mentorship of an established RI principal investigator or Senior Research Scientists.
