Construction Project Manager

Job description

Position: Construction Project Manager Reports to: Director of Construction: Department: Construction: Purpose: Contribute to Excel Fitness’ success by managing and coordinating all design and construction efforts for new club openings, relocations, expansions, and remodels. The Project Manager will verify that clubs are built to architectural plans, budgets, and brand standards. The role also oversees procurement for construction and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), including managing purchase orders and tracking long-lead items. Ensures the successful opening, relocation, expansion, and major remodel of all locations throughout current and future development areas. Qualifications: Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently inspect the project and may be exposed to ongoing construction.
