Job description Procurement Services Division is the procurement delivery function for the Scottish government. The Division has 5 broad teams: Scottish Government Procurement, Capability, Contract Management, Shared Services, and More Powers. Our commercial and procurement support is delivered through a variety of models, included Managed Services, ad-hoc support, and teams embedded into customer organisations. The role-holder will be responsible for the development of all aspects of a high-quality Procurement and Commercial team as well as contributing to the strategic management of Scottish Government's Procurement Services Division. The successful candidate will sit on the division's senior management team. While an integral part of the procurement function, the team is embedded into policy programs responsible for supporting key Scottish Government projects, such as Social Security, Employability programs, Commercial Value for Money, and Vessel’s replacement programme.
