POSITION SUMMARY: Seeking security officer to provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control at the Aerospace Arlington VA location. HOURLY RATE: $32.73/hr. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant - Patrol Buyer’s facilities and report all security or safety deficiencies - C onduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed. - Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist , observe , report, and contain - Enforce Buyer’s access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies - Subject to frequent interruptions - May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs. - Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday - Climb 8 or more flights of stairs .
