Description Job Title: American Sign Language Interpreter Department: Operations – Services: Reports To: RavenTek Program Manager: Location: Washington D.C. Schedule: Monday – Friday: Hours: Full-time, 30-hours/week: FLSA Status: Hourly, Nonexempt: Clearance: Public Trust: Position Summary: The American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter provides professional interpretation services to support accessible communication between Deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals and hearing personnel. This role ensures compliance with federal accessibility standards and supports inclusive communication across a variety of professional environments. The performance of this position is key to RavenTek's performance on the contract, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support the customer. Requirements: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide real-time ASL interpretation (voice-to-sign and sign-to-voice) for meetings, briefings, trainings, and events. - Deliver both in-person and virtual interpretation services (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom). - Accurately convey meaning, tone, and context of communications. - Prepare for assignments by reviewing materials and terminology in advance. - Maintain str...
