Job Summary: Employee will work independently to do experiments as jointly designed by the technologist, the Research Fellow and/or the Lab Manager. This position requires expertise in melanocyte biology, tissue and cell culture aseptic techniques and strong experience in molecular biology and mouse models. Our group studies cell death/proliferation signals in relation to development and disease, particularly in cancer of pigment cells (melanoma). We attempt to understand critical modes of cell homeostasis with a goal of molecular targeted therapy as well as prevention of melanoma.
