Process Quality Engineer

Job Description Summary Product quality review associated with the manufacturing process of compressor airfoils including milling, broaching, turning, grinding, CMM inspection and NDT inspections. Supports operations team through focus on problem solving and sustainable corrective actions. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of daily activities within the shop floor operations and quality team. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance. The quality team maintains flexibility to support both sites. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: - Support day to day manufacturing operations through daily management and RCCA - Interpret tooling and product drawings to ensure hardware is produced in conformance. Develop technical experience in GD&T and obtain PR certification to disposition suspect hardware - Interact with internal and external auditors. - Manage long term projects aimed at creating Zero Defect Culture - Complete trainings required to obtain Quality Excellence Program Level I and II - Develop understanding of significant processes and lead through changes needed in collaboration with Certifying Agents and Design Engineers.
