Company Description Jasper County Rural Electric Membership Corporation (REMC) is a not-for-profit electric distribution cooperative headquartered in Rensselaer, Indiana. We proudly serve more than 8,500 consumers and 9,600 meters across 1,227 miles of line throughout Jasper County and parts of White, Starke, Pulaski, Porter, and Newton counties in northwest Indiana. As a member-owned cooperative, Jasper County REMC is governed by a board of directors elected by—and from—the membership we serve.
