Job DetailsJob Location: The Bridge at ACES - Hamden, CT 06517Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $40.00 HourlyYouth Justice and Education Services We are seeking an experienced Traffic Safety Flagger Instructor to deliver high-quality training in work zone safety and flagging operations. The instructor will teach state-approved flagger procedures, provide hands-on demonstrations, and certify participants in accordance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Teach work zone safety, traffic control, and flagging procedures. Deliver classroom and hands-on instruction following state, OSHA, and ATSSA guidelines. Administer written/practical assessments and issue certifications. Prepare training materials and maintain accurate records. Ensure a safe, compliant, and engaging learning environment. Preferred: Instructor-level certification: Bilingual (Spanish/English) CPR/First Aid certification Qualifications: 2–3 years’ experience in traffic control, construction safety, or related field.
