Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the Korecka Lab. The position will focus on two interconnected research areas: (1) elucidating the cellular mechanisms underlying epilepsy in dentatorubral–pallidoluysian atrophy (DRPLA) and evaluating gene therapy–based rescue strategies, and (2) defining the role of neuroinflammation in disease progression across rare genetic ataxias. Qualifications: The Korecka Lab investigates early disruptions in neuronal activity that drive neurodegenerative phenotypes.
