Responsibilities OBXtek is currently staffing for a Senior IT Systems/Network Engineer, supporting the Army’s Global Enterprise Network Modernization – OCONUS (GENM-O) organization. Below is a list of expectations the candidate must meet for this effort: Major Duties and Responsibilities: Provide technical direction for IT projects, such as high-availability and virtualization. Lead efforts collaboratively with developers, designers, product owners, and partner organizations to rapidly develop prototype technical software and hardware solutions. Collaborate with various agencies and programs, serving as a solutions consultant to determine optimal cloud solutions. Evaluating environments for migration, working in sandboxes, and architecting solutions tailored to the needs of the Army. Coordinate solution design and architecture with existing project teams to ensure alignment with Army projects. Work directly with implementation teams to provide technical guidance and implementation priorities.
