Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: · Set-up and break-down dishwashing area. · Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions, change dishwater in dish machine. · Sort and rinse dirty tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the machine. · Sort and stack clean dishes; Carry clean dishes to proper storage areas. · Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand · Take trash and garbage to the dumpster. · Perform general restaurant cleaning as directed. · Notify manager anytime dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures. · Other projects and tasks may be delegated as needed. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) · California Food Handlers card is required for all food service employees who prepare, store, and serve food. · A willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. · Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and work effectively within a sometimes-pressurized environment. · Bilingual-English/Spanish skills helpful, but not required. · Ability to read chemical labels, saf...
