The Role: Under general direction, the Substance Use Counselor is an integral member of the clinical team and serves as the primary counselor to a caseload of substance use disorder patients. The SU Counselor will manage a caseload of patients, provide individual and group counseling, conduct an assessment, coordinate services, psycho-education, referrals, and keep all required documentation up to date. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of Samaritan Daytop Village.
