What You'll Be Doing Job Scope: The Machinery Engineering position will work collaboratively across multiple levels of the organization, and with multi-discipline teams, to improve the facility’s rotating equipment reliability. This includes supporting daily operation, maintenance, turnarounds, and projects for rotating equipment and their associated systems Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Supports all phases of machinery engineering from concept development, scoping, selection, manufacturing, technical audit, final acceptance, start-up, troubleshooting, and failure analysis Prepare, review, and approve machinery or component purchase specifications which may include preparation of engineering, operating, maintenance or reliability standards, policies and instructions Provide technical review and approval of vendor calculations/drawings and technical reports Participate in resolution of all operational and reliability issues as may occur during start-up and during normal plant operation Answer technical inquiries, make technical recommendations, improve design tools, and develop design procedures Spearhead resolution of quality issues during equipment m...
