Central Transfer & Recycle Center (CRC) , a Waste Connections company, is currently hiring for a full-time Lead Operator to work in our transfer station in Vancouver, WA. The schedule will be 10:00am to around 6:30pm on weekdays and 6:00am to around 4:30pm on Saturday and Sunday, with Wednesdays and Thursdays off. The starting wage will be $32/hour to start. Buying and sorting out materials from customers. Greeting, directing, discussing issues with, and educating customers of onsite rules and restrictions in a polite and courteous manner Directing and tracking incoming traffic and monitoring waste material flow Sorting customer loads - heavy lifting of metals Following all appropriate safety guidelines and precautions, wearing required safety gear, and maintaining a neat and professional appearance at all times Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
