Job description

We are currently on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our Afternoon Shift team at our depot in St Marys! As our PM Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient unloading of linehaul trailers and containers, and the effective unloading of PUD vehicles. Key Responsibilities: - Maximise Efficiency: Ensure trailers and units are loaded to full capacity, distribute freight accurately, and oversee all unloading activities. - Collaborate and Support: Work closely with the PM Operations Manager to address concerns related to revenue, loads, and site operations. - Lead and Guide: Supervise PM Forklift Operators, Receiving Officers and General Hands, focusing on safety, scanning accuracy, and minimising freight damage. - Monitor and Report: Keep a keen eye on revenue, load accuracy, costs, and service issues, and work towards providing effective solutions. - Ensure Compliance: Maintain safe load procedures, adherence to Chain of Responsibility, and ensure equipment and resource efficiency.
