Description Position Type: Full-Time Faculty, Clinician (Clinical Track, Non-Tenure) Position Summary: Tulane University School of Medicine’s John W. Deming Department of Medicine is seeking a Clinician Researcher in General Oncology to join the faculty. This is a full-time position within the Section of Hematology & Medical Oncology. The successful candidate will contribute to our efforts to expand clinical care while ensuring excellence in research and education. This position is ideal for an ABIM-certified (or eligible) medical oncologist with experience in medical oncology. Key Responsibilities: · Clinical Care: Provide exceptional outpatient care in a variety of oncologic diseases with a minimum of 4.5 days of clinic a week. Participate in consult services and provide care to patients with and without fellows-in training. Participate in quality initiatives and improvement projects. Comply promptly with billing, documentation, credentialing, and other administrative requirements. · Education & Mentorship: Train and mentor fellows, residents, and medical/graduate students in clinical trials and medical oncology.
