Classification Title: Quality Officer Classification Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in an appropriate area and five years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and seven years of relevant experience. Experience should include experience in health care quality or performance improvement programs. Job Description: The University of Florida, Department of Emergency Medicine, is seeking a Quality Officer to join our team to serve as the administrative lead for departmental quality assurance, patient safety, and Just Culture initiatives across multiple emergency department sites. The Quality Officer will work in close collaboration with the Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs, the Physician Director of Quality (PDQ), and site-based PDQs to develop, implement, and sustain comprehensive quality and patient safety initiatives.
